As Americans, we owe a great debt to the members of our armed forces who dedicate their lives to defend our nation. The Naked Warrior Project works to ensure that we preserve the memory of fallen warriors in the Navy SEAL and SOCOM/JSOC community and raise money to benefit the Gold Star Families.

Release Boatworks is proud to sponsor The Naked Warrior Project as they host the Third Annual Naked Warrior Project Fishing Tournament. All proceeds from the tournament will go towards The Naked Warrior Project’s mission to memorialize fallen Navy SEALs, help injured SEALs in their recovery, and support Gold Star Families.

A Gold Star Family is the immediate family member(s) of a fallen service member who died while serving in a time of conflict, and this organization was founded by people who have experienced loss first-hand. The founder of The Naked Warrior Project, John Owens, is a Navy SEAL and started this 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization when his brother, Ryan Owens, also a Navy SEAL, was killed in action on January 29, 2017. Through our events and community involvement, they able to help families and ensure that the memory of these brave warriors sacrifices is never forgotten.
